We do not acquire from vendors known to circulate photocopied or counterfeit editions.

Because of this inspection, restoration, and cataloguing work, listed prices are set above the original used-purchase price — this reflects the labour of conservation, not a markup on the book alone. All titles are available for direct sale and shipping anywhere within India.
The REAL Book Conservatory preserves, restores, curates, and circulates books that advance science, engineering, medicine, mathematics, philosophy, and human flourishing.
The Conservatory acquires academic and scholarly books from graduating students, researchers, professors, and libraries; restores and catalogues them; and redistributes them to learners, educators, and institutions — supporting the research and educational mission of the REAL Institute. This is stewardship, not retail. Site is operational, but undergoing development.
Every book that enters the Conservatory moves through the same disciplined path: rescue, restore, record, and return to circulation.
Rather than loose titles, we curate by field — so a collection can be studied, cited, and passed on as a whole.
